ARGDLFNSKFD!#* This sweater!!!
I usually take the opportunity to reconsider my wardrobe and my hair when the change of season is just around the corner. I tend to find imagery or latch on to a certain era and play around with it until I move on to something else. While my wardrobe will never have a drastic overhaul (been there, done that), it is nice to adopt new styles and new ways of wearing things or just try something new for the hell of it.
Lately I have been incredibly enamored with the 1930s again. Or rather the late 1920s to the late 1930s. This is possibly my favorite era for dressing and I just find the clothing, style, and imagery from this era just so damn beautiful and I know I shall never tire of it.
Just looking through all these 1930s style inspirations just aches my heart. I just adore it so much! I have a feeling I am going to be living in bias cut dresses and skirts, puffy sleeve blouses, and long cardigans for the remainder of the year. And lots more hats! You know I love me lots of hats!

I love this blog! Of course, I have loved the 1930’s since I started researching it for my book! I found tons of pictures and notes in my family’s archives so I wrote based on their true story! You have some awesome pictures here!
