These colors, the different shades of red, green, brown, and grey, are all so nostalgic to me. They are so classic Pacific Northwest. They remind me of hills covered in evergreen trees, wooden log cabins, moist forest floor, dinner out of a cast iron pan, and a warm fire. I daydream about going on a late afternoon walk and cozying up to Twin Peaks. It’s all the things I love about living in this corner of the United States and reminds me of why I continue to crave its grey skies and delicate rain.
